Joshua Lamberg

CEO and Founder

Josh Lamberg is the founder and CEO of Lamb Insurance Services, the nation’s largest insurance broker dedicated exclusively to social service organizations. Prior to founding Lamb Insurance Services, he worked for insurance carriers- Philadelphia Insurance Companies and Liberty Mutual. Before starting his career in the insurance industry, Josh had a short career as a professional baseball player; a catcher with several different teams including a short minor league stint with the Cincinnati Reds organization.

The values and ethics that created his success as a professional athlete are the foundation of the character embraced by every Lamb employee. Attitude, Effort, and Preparation are the core elements of his company’s success. Grit, relentless drive, and continuous improvement are Lamb’s best practices.

Rich Spitzer

EVP, Sales

Rich brings over 30 years of sales and marketing leadership experience and excitedly joined Lamb based on the culture, core values, leadership and growth prospects of the company.

Most recently, he was VP - Sales Operations Center of Excellence at Wolters Kluwer, a company primarily serving the financial services and legal segments, where he was responsible for sales enablement and investments in sales force effectiveness and led all functions essential to driving sales productivity. Prior to that, during a long, successful career with Xerox Corporation, he held several leadership roles with responsibility spanning the U.S. and North America, including; VP/GM - North America Supplies Business, VP - U.S. Sales, and VP, North America Product Marketing and VP- Northeast Sales. He started his career at Xerox as a sales representative in N.J. and progressed through multiple sales/management roles while building toward the leadership roles mentioned above.

Daniel Heller

Chief Financial Officer

Dan comes to Lamb Insurance Services with two decades of experience in Technology and Finance. Prior to joining the team, Dan was Vice President of Acquisitions at Diamond Equity Partners, LLC. There he built the acquisitions group from the ground floor, and served as an integral part of operations for the portfolio, including marketing, finance, accounting, and business development duties. Prior to his work at Diamond Equity Partners, LLC, Dan was an Associate in the Acquisitions Group at RAF Industries, Inc and spent ten years working in investment banking.

Dan received a B.S. in Finance, and a B.A. in Marketing from Lehigh University, and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School.

Dave Berry

Chief Technology Officer

David Berry comes to Lamb Insurance Services as the Interim CTO with several decades of technology experience in a variety of industries and companies, including Dannon, Haagen-Dazs, Coty, TOMS, HomeServeUSA, lululemon athletica, and Bombardier Aerospace. David has lived and worked in many countries during his career and has been the technology leader for several global projects and mergers and acquisitions. David was awarded the coveted CIO 100 Award for outstanding ROI (415%) that integrated a $1B acquisition in less than a year. He has also been published in several magazines.

David is driven by a passion to do the right things for consumers and companies. He values listening, trust and integrity, and cultural understanding. He a constant learner and storyteller to help teams excel. As a Navy veteran, David as taken on a role of mentoring military veterans that are exiting active duty and returning to civilian life.

He is a graduate of Pace University majoring in Information Systems.

Jeanne Oronzio Wermuth

Director of Client Services

Jeanne joined Lamb Insurance Services in 2015 with 20 years of experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry. Prior to joining the Lamb team, Jeanne spent 12 years at a large insurance brokerage and consulting firm in Philadelphia where she was a member of the Health and Human Services team and leader of the Management Liability Practice Group. Jeanne’s professional career also led her to become an adjunct professor of insurance at Temple University for several semesters. Her experience includes insurance coverage analysis, captives, reinsurance, training, and education. Jeanne oversees our Property & Casualty service team, and is an additional resource to our clients for coverage and service-related questions.

Agnes Managhaya

Director of Claims

Agnes is the Director of Claims and is responsible for leading a team of industry professionals and experts to deliver the highest level of services, best practices in claims advocacy, risk management solutions and promote an overall risk awareness culture with our clients.

Agnes joined Lamb in 2014 as a Senior Claims and Risk Advocate, bringing with her 17 years of experience in claims and risk management. With her strong focus on excellence in client service and commitment to Lamb’s core values, Agnes was promoted to Director of Claims in 2017.

Prior to joining Lamb, Agnes served as Corporate Risk Manager for one of the largest transportation companies in the US with segments in the school bus, paratransit and transit operations in various locations across the country. While there, she was responsible for building the Risk Management Division from the ground up and was involved in all aspects of the department including management of insurance and policy renewals, management of claims, loss control initiatives and programs, insurance and safety compliance. She also served briefly in the Risk Management Division of one of the leading trucking and logistics companies in the country.
Agnes attended De La Salle University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing Management.

COREY heller

President of Employee Benefits

Corey serves as the President of Employee Benefits at Lamb Insurance Services. He is responsible for the day-to-day consulting services the firm provides to its clients, the development of strategic initiatives, and leading new business production. Corey has spoken, and presented to numerous audiences on health and welfare related subjects such as; alternative funding strategies, healthcare reform, emerging benefits and HR trends, and the role of technology and I.T. in developing a complete benefit portfolio. Prior to joining Lamb Insurance Services, Corey worked for AXA Advisors as the VP of Employee Benefits responsible for mid-market sized accounts. He is a graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in Finance. He is licensed in Health, Life and Accident in multiple states.

Alexander yeres

Marketing Manager and General Counsel

Alex Yeres joined Lamb Financial Group in 2014 as our Marketing Manager and General Counsel. Prior to joining the Lamb team, Alex practiced law for 10 years, concentrating in commercial real estate transactions and general corporate law. Most recently, he was an Associate with a leading New York City real estate law firm where he represented clients in all aspects of conveyancing, leasing, as well as sophisticated real estate financing transactions.

Alex earned his BA from Syracuse University and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Pace University School of Law.

REGIONAL

Steve Phillabaum

Regional Sales Manager

Steve is Lamb’s Director of Client Acquisition and is responsible for leading our relentless drive to implement comprehensive risk management strategies for our new clients. Prior to joining Lamb Insurance Services, he led Navy engineering, operations, and anti-terrorism teams during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was responsible for immediate conflict engagement and point defense of strategic infrastructure in the Northern Arabian Gulf. Steve also spent several years working for Datalogic Industrial Automation, a world leader in the material handling industry. He advanced through technical and managerial positions in finance, engineering, new product development, and project management. Steve is a published author on risk management issues, and serves on the board of several community and veteran organizations. Steve is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he played NCAA Division I Water Polo and received his MBA from Saint Joseph’s University’s Erivan K. Haub School of Business.

Michael Lamberg

Regional Sales Manager

Michael joined Lamb Insurance Services in 2013. Michael oversees business development for New York and surrounding areas. Prior to joining the Lamb team, Michael spent 8 years at Thomson Reuters as a valued member of the Corporate Services Group where he was responsible for providing stock market advisory research for publicly traded companies. In addition to his knowledge and understanding of insurance products designed to help social service organizations, Michael is an expert in our Workers Compensation offerings here at Lamb Insurance Services.

Michael earned his BA from Syracuse University and his Masters (Cum Laude) from New York University.
