AUGUST STEP CHALLENGE

During the month of August, the Employee Engagement and Volunteer Committees at Lamb put together the Step with Purpose campaign to benefit the Institute for Community Living (ICL). With a pledge of 4 cents for every 100 steps employees took, Lamb employees across the nation “stepped” up to the plate, walking over 9 million steps, or 4,000 miles, for a total donation of $4,000.

The donation was made possible by the determination of the winners of our step challenge: in first place, Jose Carbajal, with 626,000 steps; in second place, Herman Chen, with 556,000 steps; and in third place, Lisa Ngo, with 545,000 steps.
